actionjacks looks more practical.. atleast if you accidently bash it sideways against somthing it doesn't look like it'll break right off and turn back into a sword :P nice job with the photo shopping none the less its greather than my ability

I prefer Jack's as well, mainly due to the fact that it has a longish handle, and the blade on the end, like all axes. The One in the OP still has the handle of a sword, and doesn't really look very axe like anyway (Excluding the blade)

Although I would have to say it looks a bit more realistic than Jacks, which looks a bit too top heavy for the handle.

Sephiroth's sword is called the Masamune, and it is a zanbatou. Like so:

And it would be really too big to wield in game with 1 hand....

isnt Masamune the name of aurons sword from ff10 *scratch head*
its infact not a katana or a long sword its like a cross between
they could always make a new prof called Soldier and wield 2handed swords :P

More like a nodachi or ōdachi With the handle of a smaller katana, making it unwieldy.

Barrett: Masamune is a name usually reserved in FF games for a character's "ultima weapon", Paying homage to either Masamune Okazaki(famous 14th-century swordsmith.) or Date Masamune ( feudal age daimyo, known for his kenjutsu.)

Edit: actually "zanbatou's" never even existed, there is no historical proof. ;|
